What we thought was a dryed up pond turned out to be a honey hole !!!!

CRAPPIE

Me and my buddy went fishing in my grandfather’s pond and didn’t have any luck all day, not even a crappie, which is rare ‘cause I always catch crappie there even out of season. So we decided to pack it up and head home. Then i remembered there was an old pond above the big one that never held water very well. I thought I’d drive back and take look. We got up there and like always that pond had maybe 4 foot of water in it. I had no intention of getting out the truck but before I knew it my buddy was out of the truck and down the hill, fishing pole in hand !!! He threw a cast and in a bam he caught a 3-pound bass and then 7 more followed. I was shocked. I couldn’t believe that old dried up pond had any fish left. It turns out that it had just enough to eat. lol.
